This week focuses on the years 2018 to 2020, solely in Europe. Sweden is where kubb originated from and it spread to the rest of Europe.  Arguably, the best players in the world reside on this continent. Holding 1v1 tournaments on the eve of the big tournaments had become common during this time. Players from teams that we don’t always see in the finals were making their mark in this new format. The Belgian Bastards took the top step at the World Championship with a huge turn in Game one of the finals. The newly formed European Kubb Championship in 2018 showcased their top-notch event with unreal tournament play. This might be the highest level of play seen in this video series. You decide.
