EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. — The sixth annual Pre-U.S. Championship Tournament will be held once again at the Eau Claire Soccer Park. This is also the site of the U.S. National Championship, making this an ideal warm-up for that tournament which is held just a couple weeks later. The Pre-Championship Tournament is a three-to-six person tournament using the U.S. National Championship rules. Registration is free, and you can register by emailing Patrick Klages at firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure your spot in the tournament. Register soon, as space will be limited to just 40 teams.
This edition of the tournament will take place on June 29 at 9 a.m. and will conclude around 4 p.m. when everyone will be encouraged to head to The Brewing Projekt for food and drinks along with the team draw for the U.S. National Championship which will be held starting at 5 p.m. For lunch, Davis Dogs will be onsite from 11am-2pm with a food truck, and players are encouraged to get a great lunch there.
