Kubb Match Monday: Phil Goetstouwers vs. John Oman

The quarterfinals of the 2018 World 1v1 Kubb Championship are featured in this week’s Kubb Match Monday episode. Number one seeded Phil Goetstouwers is matched up with eighth seeded John Oman. Both are from Chaska Kubb. Phil is coming off a decisive victory of his number 16 seeded opponent. John narrowly escaped number nine seed, kubb legend Dave Ellringer of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in his first round victory. He had to rebound from knocking down the king too early in game one of that match in order to get to this quarterfinal matchup with his club-mate.
