HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — The 2018 Kubbspel Fall Klassic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, in Huntersville at Journey Church. This is a two to three person tournament run by Mike Davids and the Queen City Kubb Club. The tournament will start by using the Klassic system for qualifying rounds in the morning with the top eight teams qualifying for championship play, while all other teams will be seeded into a consolation bracket. Last year, the Carolina Kubb Krew (Mike Davids, Leigh Northrup) came away with the title.
This year, up to 16 teams are expected to participate, with the top three teams all receiving awards. Kubb sets for the tournament are provided by Kubbspel Classic and all the pitches will be staked. Lunch will be available. All proceeds from the lunch and tournament will benefit the Appalachian Service Project.
