APPLETON, Wisc. — Team Kubb Snipers is slated to host the Cabin Fever tournament on Jan. 6, 2018. This will be a sand kubb tournament held at Game Day Sports Bar in Appleton. There is no entry fee and a limit of 24 teams for the tournament. Registration is currently full, so if you’re interested in joining, contact Tournament Director Chad Bevers to get added to the waiting list on their Facebook Event Page or by email at foxvalleykubb@gmail.com.
The tournament will use the U.S. Kubb Open rules for open play with a few slight modifications. Teams will be two to six players and each team will play a minimum of seven games with the top eight teams advancing to the championship bracket (best of three matches) and teams nine through 16 in the consolation bracket (one game).
In lieu of registration fees, they will be accepting donations with all money raised going to a local family that recently lost their wife/mother to cancer this year.
