Four weeks, four tournaments, four states—that’s one full June! First up is the East Coast with the Maryland Kubb Championship. It’s the next stop on the Atlantic Kubb Tour, and former East Coast Kubb Championship site. It’s two-person minimum teams, neighbor rule, and the option to pull the pin before blasting. It’s a great tournament to check out the East Coast vibes.
Next up is the long-running Kubbing to Kick Cancer tournament. This fundraiser for the American Cancer Society is also a two-person minimum tourney. In addition to a field of competitive teams, there will be also be a silent auction to further raise money. The Havlorsons put on a great day of kubb, so add this one to your calendar.
Did you know there’s kubb in Kansas? For more than a decade the Midsummer’s Festival in Lindsborg, Kansas has been holding a tournament. The hand-painted trophies are super detailed and super cool—cool enough to make the trip.
The Pre-Championship Kubb Tournament, or The Pre, is maybe the ultimate warm up for Natty’s. It takes place on the same grass as the big tourney, and features many of the same teams.
