Since 2017, May 5 has been celebrated as the International Day of Kubb. The “5/5” represents the two five-kubb baselines (and bonus, no confusion between month/day and day/month formats). Kubb On covered the holiday’s inception if you want to know more about how it came to be.
This year, the International Day of Kubb organizers are encouraging kubb players around the world to bring the game to work.
Kubb is a game that encourages teamwork, strategy, and good sportsmanship, so it’s a great way to build camaraderie and foster positive workplace relationships.

Kubb is a great game to play. I started just recently and am hooked. So….I started making my own Kubb games using laminated hardwoods for the King and all other pieces except the throwing pieces and the boundary stakes. I live in central Minnesota and can be reached at 320-760-1296 if interested.
