ELVERSON, Penn. — The latest version of the popular Tournament Director software (previously detailed in this article) was released today. In addition to a number of bug fixes (see software release notes), version 3.0 also introduces paid licenses.
As of March 2023, Tournament Director is no longer free and all previous versions of the software will no longer be supported. The pricing model includes a $50 per event license or a $125 annual fee for unlimited events and/or leagues. Without a license, the events or leagues using the software will be limited to:
- Three qualification rounds
- Eight teams
- One, eight team bracket
- No live syncing of results to keystonekubb.com
- No event restarts
The purchase of a license will enable all features of the software for the duration of the subscription. All of the proceeds from licenses go directly towards the development and support costs for the Tournament Director software.
You can learn more about the software, and download the Mac and Windows apps from the Keystone Kubb website.
