At the end of the seven rounds, Playin’ for Chubbs (Joe Harbert, Bob Hickes) had earned the top seed.
After the first round of championship play, the semi-final matches were set with the Playin’ for Chubbs taking on the Varangians (Jim Fravel, Keith Shearer) in one match and Kung Mördare (Rebecca Martel, Kyle Weakland) against Kraken Stache (Mike Horengic, Jake Leavitt) in the other. In the first semi-final match, Playin’ for Chubbs was able to take out the Varangians in two games. In the second semi-final matcg, Kraken Stache also won the first two games against Kung Mördare to advance to the championship match.

In the second game, Playin’ for Chubbs were are to battle back and take game two to force a winner take all final game. In the last game, Kraken Stache was able to get more kubbs down early in the game, making it too hard for Playin’ for Chubbs to battle back. Kraken Stache won the match 2-1 and were crowned the 2022 Queen City Kubb Spring Fling champions.
