Kubb Highlights: U.S. Open 1v1

Kubb is all about camaraderie and celebrating each other’s successes. Evan Fitzgerald has been a giant in our sport for many years for a number of reasons.  Not only is he an incredible player, tournament organizer, and promoter but he is also a class act guy. He has shared his game with dozens if not hundreds of people (including his competitors) during his time in the sport.  

Personally, I was struggling to get my drill rotation smoothed out during the Loppet tournament in 2016. He happened to be walking by me as I was practicing between rounds so I decided to ask him for a few pointers. He gave me a very simple tip about pulling the kubb into its spiral with only my middle finger and not all three fingers like I was trying to do. This made a huge difference in my game for years to come. Thanks Evan!
