Big Turns, Hot Streaks & Dramatic Finishes: Week 7

The Skuffle for the Shovel has become a January kubb tradition in North Carolina. Hosted by Queen City Kubb, the winner gets their name added to The Shovel. It’s a 1v1 outdoor tournament that’s been held since 2016.

The 2021 finals featured Drew Gander from Raleigh Kubb (Raleigh, N.C.) and Mike Davids from Queen City Kubb (Charlotte, N.C.). The two clubs are separated by about 120 miles (200 km). Gander has been eliminated by Davids 2-1 games in the tournament in each of the last two years. How did it turn out this year? Watch this week’s video to find out!
