Concord, N.C. — Now in its fifth year, the Skuffle for the Shovel returns on Jan. 25 to Dorton Park in in Concord. As in years past, this is a 1v1 battle that will use five rounds of the Klassic system and is hosted by local club, Queen City Kubb.
After the qualifying rounds, championship and consolation brackets will be seeded to find out who gets to hoist the coveted shovels (as pictured above).
Due to North Carolina’s relatively mild climate, this might be the perfect winter-without-snow tournament to get in on. Registration is live, but don’t wait as the tournament will be capped at 16 players. Players of all ages and skills are invited to join the fun.
