SCANDIA, Minn. — The St. Paul Kubb Society will be at Taco Daze in Scandia again this year. The Taco Daze Kubb Tournament has been an exciting scrambler that lets you play as a single or a pair. During qualifying, teams will be randomly formed each round. After qualification, teams will be set based on points, and those teams will remain in place for the duration of bracket play.
This year, an new twist of player rankings will be added. When registering, players will select a rating for themselves (be honest!) based on experience. Level 1 is an experienced player who has played in leagues or tournaments, Level 2 is a player who has played in one or two tournaments, but still feels they are somewhat new or learning and Level 3 is a new player with little-to-no kubb experience.
As in years past, the tournament will be held on the grounds of Meister’s Bar in Scandia. There will be live music, grilled food, an outside bar and more in addition to the kubb.
