Just like last year, the Kubb On staff decided it would be fun to break down the bracket and make some predictions. In this article, the staff will look more in-depth at a portion of the bracket and guess who they believe will advance to Sunday. For reference, check out the official groups and bracket.
Kubb On would like to remind everyone that this is all just for fun. The staff doesn’t claim to know every team or every player, but it’s too intriguing not to at least speculate.
In a bit of a surprise, Kubbadox, a new grouping of very skilled players with Top 16 experience is slightly favored over Kubboom Jr. (4th). No one seems sure who is going to come out on top between groups K and L. The Kubbing Projekt (G) is the slight favorite but they are coming out of a tough group with TC Pork Choppers: Year of the Pig, and Ragnarok. Whoever wins that group will be playing very well and should give the Grass Kickers (T13) a tough match. Tad Kubbler (T5) and Kubbitz (T9) should be safe in their spots, but any surprises in groups Y through BB could put a tough team in their way.

Dark Horses
Swedish Neighborhood Thieves is led by experienced kubb player Ryan Kolden and could pose a threat to Kubbitz for Sunday as well as the Regicidal Timber Mafia (G) who were denied their Sunday ticket last year by a tough Kubbstaches team. Red Head Sched is previous Sunday threat that could end up on this side of the bracket and pose an early threat to Kubboom Jr.

Potential Matchup to Watch
- Kubboom Jr. versus Kubbadox
Will Kubboom Jr. who were the talk of the tournament last year have trouble with Kubbadox, a group of tough kubb veterans? This is a match to see.

I’m not familiar with kubbadox but you are correct that Poplar Culture represents a significant threat.
Hey Aaron, Kubbadox is Phil Dickinson, Jesse Fraim, and Mike Davids.
