DALLAS, Wisc. — America’s only 6v6 and its second oldest tournament is returning for a tenth year to Dallas on Saturday, Oct. 6. This year, the fun will be extended to more teams than ever before—24 instead of 16. The tournament starts with group play before seeding a championship, silver, and new this year—bronze brackets.

The U.S. National ruleset will be in effect, with a couple of additions. Teams must be six players, with only one baton thrown per player. Inkasting cannot be done by the same player in consecutive rounds, so at least two players on the team will need to drill.

In addition to the kubb tournament, the Village of Dallas will be hosting a whole weekend of events. A pancake breakfast, a vintage baseball game, and a car show are just a few of the things you can expect. Valkyrie Brewing Company will be on hand serving beer in commemorative Oktoberfest beer mugs, this year featuring the kubb tournament logo.

This tournament has had a waitlist for many years, so the extra teams means you might have a chance if you’re not already signed up. Contact Kubbnation Magazine if you’re interested.
