CONCORD, N.C.. — Queen City Kubb is ready to host the third annual Skuffle for the Shovel tournament Jan. 13, 2018. This will be a 1v1  tournament held at Dorton Park in Concord. The entry fee is $15 and the tournament will be capped, so make sure you register early.

The tournament will use the U.S. National Kubb Championship Rules with slight modifications for 1v1 play. The tournament pitches will be open starting at 11 a.m. and the tournament will start promptly at noon. The tournament will start with three rounds (single game) of qualifying play, followed by a single elimination tournament. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend as well as your favorite beverage. The defending champion is Michael Roberts, who has won both previous editions of the Skuffle for the Shovel and he will be looking to defend his crown and take home the coveted Queen City Kubb Snow Shovel!
