CONCORD, N.C. — The fourth annual Skuffle for the Shovel will descend upon Concord Saturday, Jan. 19. This 1v1 tournament will pit kubb players old and new against one another to determine who wins the coveted Queen City Kubb Snow Shovel.
Registration is $10 and kubb players of all skill levels are invited to join in the fun. The U.S. National Championship rules will be in effect. Players will be matched up via the Klassic system for five games of qualification. From there, winning players stay in the championship bracket while losing players drop into the consolation bracket. The championship bracket winner will take home the Shovel, while the winner of the consolation bracket gets the Kid Shovel.
