THIEF RIVER FALLS, Wisc. — The annual TRF Winter Kubb Championship in Thief River Falls returns for the tenth time. This year’s tournament will be held at the Eagles Club on Jan. 12.
Like in years past, teams must be between two and six players, and the U.S. National Championship rules will be used. The TRF Winter Kubb Championship is tends to be one of the coldest tournaments in the United States, and the projected high of 12 degrees looks to continue that trend. Be sure to bundle up and warm up inside between matches.
On the Friday night before the tournament, there will be a social meetup from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club.
