MILWAUKEE, Wisc. — The U.S. Kubb Club Championship was formally announced on Facebook yesterday. “For the first time ever, kubb clubs from across the United States are invited to gather…” the post says. This tournament will take place in Milwaukee and is open to clubs across the United States. The inaugural championship will be held the weekend of Sept. 11 to 13, 2026.
The details are thin at this point, but the post promises more updates are on their way. What is known is that instead of traditional team-led competition, this will instead be a chance for kubb clubs to be represented and compete against one another. Kubb players are encouraged to follow the U.S. Kubb Club Championship on Facebook and Instagram, as well as join the American Kubb Association Discord to be part of the ongoing dialog about what the U.S. Kubb Club Championship will become.
