After a small post-Nattys break, August returns us to a busy kubb tournament schedule. There are four options across four states!
Things get started at Pohlman Field for the Beloit Kubb Open. It’s major-league kubb on a minor-league baseball field.
If you’re looking to gain some Atlantic Kubb Tour points, then the Pennsylvania Kubb Championship is for you! Bob Hickes always puts on a great tournament. This year marks the ninth tourney in Elverson, Pennsylvania (the first two were East Coast Championships).
Have you checked out the Minnesota State Fair? They’re famous for the wild food creations, notably “just about anything”-on-a-stick. Well, it doesn’t stop there! Kubb on a Stick is a fun tournament for the casual player as well as the most competitive. The trophies are hand-made works of art, and of course, come on a stick.
The end of the month brings the Midwest Kubb Championship. After its revival last year, this one returns to Illinois for another year. Where will it go next year? It’s not yet decided, but don’t miss your chance to check it out in Batavia, Illinois this year.
