Spooky season is upon us, but don’t be scared—there’s lots of kubb still to be played! This October there are three options to knock down kubbs.
First up is the Dallas Oktoberfest Kubb Tournament. This long-running six-person tournament is part of the Oktoberfest festival in small Dallas, Wisconsin. Six-player kubb is challenging, but Dallas is always a fun environment to give it a try!
Next up is The Blasters in Cary, North Carolina. This is the last stop on the Atlantic Kubb Tour, so if you’re looking for points you better be there! This one only requires a minimum of two players, so you’ll get more throws and have to find fewer teammates than Dallas. As with other East Coast tournaments, you also have a chance to get on the Raleigh Kubb YouTube channel—shoutout to Sven and Stu!
Even if teammates aren’t your thing, there’s an October option for you too. The 1v1 World Kubb Championship has been crowing champions of single player kubb for the last decade. Who will be next to wear the coveted 1v1 jacket? Get yourself to Chaska and find out!
