Summer kubb season isn’t over yet! August brings four kubb tournaments in four different states! So fill up your tanks and get out there to play some kubb!
First up is the Beloit Kubb Open. There’s been a kubb tournament in Beloit, Wisconsin for the last decade, and Visit Beloit is determined to keep it going. It sounds like this one will be run very similar to the U.S. Kubb Open it replaces, including being held at Pohlman Field.
Next, we travel east for the Pennsylvania Kubb Championship. This staple of the Atlantic Kubb Tour is sure to bring some classic East Coast kubb action. Who will take home a sweet keystone trophy? Will Sven and Stu invent a new East Coast slang term?
Minneapolis is a hotbed of kubb, and the ever-growing Kubb on a Stick tournament is good evidence of that. This three-person tournament is now in its fifth year, and always brings that fun Twin Cities vibe they’re known for. Not to mention, they’ve got some of the coolest trophies in kubb.
The Illinois Kubb Championship is taking the year off to morph into the Midwest Kubb Championship. This storied tournament moniker has been used all over the Midwest, but this will be its first time in Batavia, Illinois.
