KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Michigan Kubb Championship returns to Flesher Field on Saturday, Sept. 25. Teams for this tournament can be two to six players. The U.S. National Kubb Championship rules will be used, with a couple exceptions—players may throw three batons in a row, and the Neighbor rule will be used.
There will be seven rounds of qualification using the Klassic System. After which, the top eight teams will be seeded in the Championship Bracket, with the remaining teams placed in the Silver Bracket. All teams are guaranteed at least eight games on the day.
A lunch break will be taken between rounds six and seven of qualifying. There will not be any food provided on-site, but the park is just down the street from a number of options, and of course players are welcome to bring their own. Please note the park prohibits alcohol and glass bottles.
