The U.S. kubb season keeps rolling with three tournaments this February. This time, the first two are both on Feb. 3, so you have to make a decision—the northern-most kubb tournament or the largest winter kubb tournament?
The Ely Winter Festival Kubb Tournament resumes as part of the larger festivities in Ely, Minnesota. Don’t let the size of this one fool you, there are still some heavy hitters that make the trek up north.
In the Twin Cities, and part of the huge City of Lakes Loppet Winter Festival, this Loppet Kubb Tournament, has been a premiere winter kubb event since 2011. There are recreational and championship divisions so newbies and veterans alike can compete with similar skilled players.
If you’re looking for a knock-down-good-time, look no further than the winter installment of the Kubbapalooza series held in Campbellsport, Wisconsin. Kubbapalooza: Ice Games is a smaller, but no-less-fun winter tournament hosted by Kettle Moraine Kubb and held on a frozen pond.
No matter where you choose to spend your February, these options are all sure to be fun. Be sure to check out our Cold Weather Kubb Survival Guide before you head out and make sure you are properly prepared for winter kubb.

I would like to talk to the gentleman from Campbellsport about hosting a tournament at the Allenton American Legion Picnic on Saturday, August 16 at the Allenton Veterans Park.
We are thinking this may be a great way to bring more people into our picnic on this day.
