DAVIDSON, N.C.—The Queen City Kubb Spring Fling returns on March 26, 2022. This marks the second event, and first team tournament of the Atlantic Kubb Tour. This tour is made up of Skuffle for the Shovel, Queen City Kubb Spring Fling, East Coast Kubb Championship, Pennsylvania Kubb Championship, and The Blasters.
The Queen City Kubb Spring Fling will use The U.S. National Kubb Championship rules, with the addition of the Neighbor Rule. Teams will also only need a minimum of two players (maximum of six). Stakes will be used on the pitches, but after all kubbs have been set up, offensive teams may choose to remove the pin before blasting. These must be replaced when the turn is over.
The format of the tournament will consist of seven rounds of qualifying utilizing the Klassic System. The top eight teams will move on to a championship bracket, with the next 24 teams battling it out in the silver bracket. Every team will be guaranteed at least eight games throughout the day.
