EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. — The indoor sand tournament, Spring Has Sprung, returns to The Complexx for the fourth time, its first since 2019. Seven rounds of the Klassic system will be used to seed a the top eight teams into a gold bracket, with the remaining teams battling it out in silver.
Teams must have a minimum of three players, and there is a limit of 24 total teams. Registration is open, and a few spots are still available. You can sign up via Venmo to @Nick_Flux with the $40 per team fee. Those without Venmo are asked to message Eau Claire Kubb League on Facebook.
If you haven’t experienced a tournament at The Complexx yet, you’re missing out. Pitches are set up on indoor sand volleyball courts. There’s a bar and food service onsite, so you can enjoy a cold drink and some tasty food in-between baton throws. It’s the perfect way to enjoy cold-weather kubb without the cold weather.
