SCANDIA, Minn. — The Kubb Society will host their second annual Vinterfest Kubb Scramble at Meister’s Bar and Grill in Scandia on Jan. 20, 2018. There will be a bonfire, youth hockey, and an outside bar on the grounds in addition to kubb.
This will once again be a scramble tournament, so no need to find a teammate. Each round players will be teamed up with different players so it will be friendly for rookies and veterans alike. Individuals can register online for $15.
Tournament Director Tim Motzko expects around 30 players. The top 12 players will be placed in the championship bracket with the remaining players going to a consolation bracket. Throughout the day, there will be KubbDown BottomsUp games (tokens for prizes and free beer). The top three players will be presented with trophies and prizes.
