HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.— The 2017 Kubbspel Fall Klassic will be held on Saturday Oct. 14, in Huntersville, North Carolina at Huntersville Athletic Park. This is a two to three person tournament run by Mike Davids and the Queen City Kubb Club. The tournament will start with Klassic Style qualifying rounds in the morning with the top eight teams qualifying for championship play, while all other teams will be seeded into a consolation bracket. Last year, the Kings Assassins (Evan Fitzgerald, George Smith) came away with the title.
This year, they are expecting about 16 teams to participate with the top three teams all receiving awards. Kubb sets for the tournament are provided by Kubbspel Classic and all the pitches will be staked. Lunch will be available. All proceeds from the lunch and tournament will benefit the Appalachian Service Project.
